Birthday Boss

My dearest, closest, fairest, beardy friend is about to have his 18th birthday. I want to give him some surprise, of course. But he already have this off-the-hook-boys-said girl. She's beyond perfect but unfortunately I'm not that close to her.

The Birthday Boy (Boss) and Me:

We (some of my girl friends and boy friends) want to make surprise for him. I want to ask her if she got any idea but I don't want her to see me as a thread. I just want to do it as a friend gift, not more, not less. But maybe just maybe she has her own special plan.

I don't know what to say anymore. I just want this one surprise to be perfect, just like my best friend gave me two presents for my birthday, they were perfect fits for me (a blouse and a pair of flat shoes).
I don't want to let my best friend down again. Ever.
